International Data Transfers

Your personal data may be transferred and processed outside of your country, including in the United States and Israel, where data protection laws may be different from your home country. By using our Services, you consent to such transfers, and we will take appropriate measures to protect your data during such transfers.

Security of Your Information

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, or misuse. While we strive to protect your data, no online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee the complete security of your data.

Third Party Partners and Your Data

We allow you to access and share data with third party partner applications through our platform. All of these third party partners have their own Terms of Use and Privacy Policies that you consent to automatically upon choosing to use our service to access these partner applications. We only store data from these applications for as long as necessary for operational purposes or as long as required by law.

Mobile App Privacy

Our Android/iOS mobile application requests access to your device’s camera solely to enable QR code scanning for account login authentication. This feature allows users to securely log in by scanning a code displayed on another device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any camera footage, photos, or other visual data. Camera access is used strictly for the QR login process and nothing else. No personal data is accessed or shared without your explicit permission. This functionality complies with our broader privacy practices outlined in this policy.

Browser Extensions

EasyChannel publishes extensions for the Google Chrome browser, including the EasyChannel Product Importer and the Multichannel Product Image Downloader. This section explains what data these extensions collect, how it is handled and stored, and who it is shared with. It applies in addition to the rest of this Privacy Policy.

What the extensions collect

• Usage events: the action you took (for example, images downloaded or product imported), the domain of the website where it happened, counts such as the number of images, your extension settings, the extension and browser version, and a random device identifier created by the extension. If you are signed in to EasyChannel in the same browser, these events are linked to your EasyChannel account.
• Error reports: when something fails, the error message, the address of the page where it happened, and the extension and browser version. If you are signed in, the report also includes your EasyChannel account ID, name and email address so we can follow up.
• Feedback you send: the text you write, the address of the page you were on, and your email address if you choose to provide it.
• Uninstall notice: when you remove an extension, Chrome notifies our server with the extension version, how many days it was installed, anonymous usage counts, the device identifier and, if you were signed in, a hashed (non-reversible) account identifier.
• Product pages you import (Product Importer only): when you choose to import a product, the page address and the product information on that page are sent to EasyChannel to create the product in your account.
• Sign-in session (Product Importer only): the extension reads your EasyChannel login cookie from app.easychannel.com so it can act on your account. It never sees or stores your password.

How we use this data

We use this data to provide the features you ask for (such as importing products and downloading images), to find and fix errors, to answer your feedback, and to understand which features are used so we can improve them. We do not use extension data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes, and we do not use it for any purpose unrelated to the extensions.

How the data is handled and stored

• Images you download go directly from the website you are browsing to your computer. They are not sent to EasyChannel.
• Your settings, import history and the device identifier are stored in your browser's extension storage on your own device, and are deleted when you remove the extension.
• Usage events, imported product data and feedback are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS) to EasyChannel's servers, where they are protected as described in the Security of Your Information section. We keep them only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
• Error reports and feedback are also stored with our error monitoring provider, Sentry.

Who we share it with

We share extension data only with service providers that help us run the extensions: Sentry (error monitoring and feedback), Amplitude (product usage analytics) and Slack (the internal messaging tool where feedback reaches our support team). These providers process the data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes. We do not share extension data with anyone else, except where required by law.

Your choices

You can stop all data collection at any time by removing the extension from Chrome. To access or delete data that an extension has sent to us, contact us at support@easychannel.com and we will handle your request within seven days, as described in the Data Deletion Policy section.

Children’s Privacy

Our Services are not intended for individuals under the age of 18. If we discover that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If any material changes are made, we will notify you through a notice on our website or via email.
